We've provided answers to common questions you may have about our professional lawn treatments and services. If there is anything else you need to know, please contact us.

How much do your treatments cost?

This will depend on the size of your lawn. Our standard treatment prices start at just £19 for lawns up to 100 square meters in size. As a new customer, we will provide a free lawn analysis and detailed quotation outlining the price of recommended treatments based on your lawn and your requirements.

Are your treatments better than doing it myself?

We firmly believe so. We have access to a wider range of professional lawncare products which can be tailored to meet the specific needs of your lawn. We provide a regular programme of treatments, designed to give the lawn what it needs at each time and are professionally trained in the use of pesticides and herbicides. Our services will work out cheaper than doing it yourself, remove the need for you to store chemicals and equipment and means you can concentrate on enjoying your lovely lawn and leave the hard work to us!

How do I pay for your lawncare services?

You pay for each treatment as you go along. You can pay by cash or card at the time, send us a cheque or pay direct to our bank through online banking. Full details will be on the invoice you’ll receive at the end of each treatment or service.

Will I have to sign a contract?

No, there are no contracts and you are free to cancel at any time.

Is there a best time to start lawn treatments?

No, we can start treating your lawn at any time of the year depending on which treatments it requires.

How often will you visit?

Typically we will visit 4 times a year in spring, early summer, summer and autumn for standard treatments, roughly 8 weeks apart. We will let you know about a week in advance by email, text or phone when each visit will be.

Do I need to be in when you visit?

No, but we will require access to your garden through any gates etc.

How long will it take before I see an improvement in my lawn?

This will depend on the condition of your lawn, the time of year and the weather conditions but you should see an improvement within a few weeks.

 

Should I mow the lawn before or after treatment?

Ideally, it's best to mow the lawn a few days before each treatment and then not mow until a few days afterwards. In autumn, it's also a good idea to clear any leaves from the lawn prior to treatment.

Are your products safe for children, pets and animals?

Yes, we only use professional products designed specifically for domestic lawns. We recommend that following application of weed control, pets animals and children are kept off treated areas for at least 3 hours The fertilisers we use pose no danger to children, plants or wildlife when used correctly.

Are your staff qualified?

Yes, all staff have been trained in the application of pesticides via the National Proficiency Tests Council and are fully trained and experienced in applying fertilisers and carrying out lawn treatments.

Which areas do you cover?

We’re based near Much Wenlock and cover an area approximately 15 miles from our base. This includes most of Shrewsbury, Telford, Bridgnorth, Church Stretton, Craven Arms, Shifnal, Albrighton, Broseley, and parts of Ludlow. To find out if we cover your house, please contact us.

Do you offer a lawn mowing service?

We do offer a temporary mowing services for our customers such as when you're on holiday or if you're unable to mow the lawn for a time.

Do you lay turf?

No we don't.
